AT THE HELIX

Saturday the 5th. of February 2011 was a very exciting and enriching day for our school when our senior choir performed along with choirs from 15 other schools and also the Cross Border Orchestra at the Helix.
It was ajoy to see the pleasure and excitement which the children derived from the occasion. Comments from parents included
"Inspiring and uplifting",
"Magical from start to finish",
"I was so moved"
The children sang three songs from Africa, "This is why we sing" - a song that celebrates and speaks what we believe. Other songs included a medley of rock and roll and a tribute to Queen.
