North Leinster champions 2011. In the photo is our Boys' u-13 team.
They emerged Louth champions in the preliminary round of the FAI Soccer Sixes (large schools). In the second round the team travelled to Navan for the North Leinster Finals and defeated the longford winners in their final match to take the North Leinster Final. In the Leinster final they gave a very good account of themselves. However they were beaten by the carlow champions. congratulations Mr. Morahan and boys.
Here we have our 4th. class boys team who were winners in their group in the FAI Futsal in JJB on the 4th. of November
The girls were runners up in their group, having been beaten by Bellurgan in the final.
Our two third classes had 6 soccer coaching sessions with Emma and Sean from DKIT. This was followed up with the blitz in JJB
SOCCER FOOTBALL
Over the years we have had some very skilled soccer players with some of them having trials with top English clubs.Well done to our u 13 team who are 2009 Dundalk Cup Champions.
Rock Celtic members David Ward (Hat trick in the final), David McGeough (Captain), Alan Farrelly (Chairman) and John Savage (Asst. Manager) received a warm welcome when they came with the MDL Cup for the second year in a row.
