On Friday, November 22nd, our school was buzzing with excitement as students took part in our school’s first-ever Anything But a Bag Day! This fun and creative event gave our students the chance to ditch their traditional schoolbags and bring their supplies in anything else they could imagine.
The event was all about encouraging creativity and nostalgia, as the students experienced a day similar to when school bags didn’t exist. From suitcases and pillowcases to ice cream buckets and lunch boxes, the ideas were as diverse as they were imaginative!
Some of the most creative containers included golf bags, shopping baskets, mini pool tables, lamp shades, mop buckets, and even a seed spreader! Our students really embraced the challenge and had a great time showcasing their unique solutions for carrying school supplies.
You can see group photos of each class from the day here.
There were even prizes for the most creative ideas, and it was wonderful to see the variety of fun and functional containers students came up with.

A big thank you to all the parents and students for participating and making this event so special. We can’t wait to see what other fun ideas the kids come up with in the future!
