Our school had a fantastic time celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge from the 10th to the 14th of March, with a variety of exciting activities for all classes!

The week kicked off with a Comórtas Ealaíona (art competition) for students from Junior Infants to Third Class, where they created wonderful pieces inspired by the Irish language. Pupils in Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Classes participated in a creative drawing competition, illustrating their favourite seanfhocal (Irish proverb).

We’re proud to showcase the winning artwork, which is now on display in the school lobby for everyone to admire!

On Lá Glas, our Junior Infants had their own lively parade, filled with energy and excitement. The Senior Infants then held a charming ceolchoirm (concert), where each class performed a poem or song, followed by a fun céilí (dance). The 1st and 2nd Classes also enjoyed their own ceolchoirm, showcasing talented musicians and dancers who put on great performances.
